Toba Tek Singh.(pirmahal.net).District development committee in its budget meeting on Thursday with DCO with powers as district government administrator in the chair,approved annual budget for year 2010-11 for the district government of the amount of Rs 4.350 billion.DCO told the meeting that Rs 3.360 billion will be spent on the salaries of employees of all government departments of provincial government while Rs 369 million have been allocated for non development expenditures.He added that Rs 613 million will be spent on on-going development schemes while Rs Rs 10 million had been kept for widows of government employees.For the purchase of medicines in government hospitals Rs 68.7 million and for veterinary hospitals Rs 3.1 million have also been earmarked,he also stated.

Toba Tek Singh.(pirmahal.net).Judicial magistrate Inayat Gondal issued on Thursday further four day phsysical remand of an alleged fake lawyer Rana Irshad Ahmad on request of city police.Case under sections 420,468 and 471 was registered against him on the application of a Pirmahal citizen Shafiq for having fake degrees of BA and LLB which were got checked through Punjab bar council.City police had requested to the court that so far stamps and Punjab bar council licence had been recovered from the custody of fake lawyer however still police had to recover from him fake degrees of BA and LLB.

Toba Tek Singh..(pirmahal.net)City police raided on Thursday in Christian colony on Shorkot road and recovered foriegn wine worth Rs 500,000 from two arrested accused persons Babar Ali of Shorkot and Sabba Maseeh of same locality. A police official told reporters that for the last few months police were after the both accused who were giving home supply service of wine to their customers.Case had been registered under Anti norcotics Act.
